\nBecause outboard motors are high-value, serial-numbered items, each order goes through additional verification before it ships.
\nTypical processing time: 1\u20133 business days after payment is confirmed.
\nDuring processing we may: confirm stock availability and motor configuration ,verify billing\/shipping details (to prevent fraud)
\nprepare serial number documentation schedule freight pickup<\/p>\n
Peak seasons \/ manufacturer delays<\/b>: Processing may take longer during high demand, holidays, severe weather, or if the motor is shipping from a distributor warehouse.
\nOrder confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout.
\nShipping confirmation: You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once the motor has left our facility\/warehouse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Shipping Method (Freight Delivery)<\/b>
\nMost new outboard motors ship via freight carrier on a pallet or in a crate for safety. Freight delivery includes:
\ncurbside delivery to the shipping address (truck access required) a delivery appointment window (carrier may call\/text)
\nLiftgate service (if needed): If you don\u2019t have a forklift\/loading dock, you may need liftgate service. If liftgate is required and not selected, the carrier may refuse delivery or charge additional fees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Estimated Transit Time<\/b>
\nTransit time depends on distance, carrier schedules, and weather.
\nTypical transit: 2\u20137 business days after the order ships. Remote locations may take longer.
\nShipping Costs & Fees Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or provided by invoice\/quote based on:
\ndestination zone freight class\/size residential vs commercial delivery liftgate and accessorial services (appointment, limited access areas, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Important<\/b>: Freight charges and accessorial fees are typically non-refundable once the order ships.
\nTracking & Delivery Appointment Once shipped, we\u2019ll email your tracking number. Freight carriers typically provide:
\na tracking link an estimated delivery range a phone call\/text to schedule a delivery appointment Signature may be required at delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Delivery Requirements<\/b>\u00a0(Customer Responsibilities)
\nTo avoid delays and re-delivery fees, please ensure: your phone number is correct at checkout (carrier uses it to schedule)
\nthe delivery location is accessible to a large truck someone is available during the delivery appointment window
\nIf delivery fails due to missed appointments, incorrect address, or access issues, re-delivery fees and\/or storage fees may apply.
\nInspect Your Shipment Before Signing (Very Important) Freight damage claims depend on what is noted at delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
When the motor arrives:<\/b>
\nInspect the pallet\/crate for dents, punctures, broken boards, crushed corners, torn wrap, or wetness.
\nIf you see ANY damage, write it on the delivery receipt\/BOL before signing (example: \u201ccrate damaged,\u201d \u201cpuncture hole,\u201d \u201cpossible concealed damage\u201d).
\nTake photos of:
\nall sides of the pallet\/crate
\nthe shipping label
\nclose-ups of the damage
\nIf damage is severe, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
\nShipping Damage \/ Concealed Damage<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Visible damage:<\/b>\u00a0must be noted on delivery paperwork at the time of delivery.
\nConcealed damage: must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos\/video of packaging and product.

If damage is confirmed<\/b>, we will assist with the carrier claim and determine the best resolution (replacement, repair, or other remedy).
\nIncorrect Address \/ Refused Delivery If an order is returned due to:
\nincorrect\/incomplete address,
\nrefusal without documented damage, or
\nfailed delivery attempts,
\nthe customer may be responsible for:
\nreturn freight charges,
\nre-delivery fees,
\nstorage fees,
\nand any distributor restocking fees (if applicable).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Order Changes & Cancellations<\/b>
